Makeup School

Fri Jan 23, 2009, 12:15 PM
I've been going to a makeup school in Hollywood in order to learn the things I need to become a Special Effects makeup artist. I have really enjoyed the past couple of months that I've gone, and I am very much looking forward to the rest of the year at the school, and to the rest of my life in my chosen profession.

  • Mood: Happy

Man is the fool...
Thanks very much for the favour - looking at your journal and gallery I can appreciate why you like it. It really was good in the flesh...

Your very welcome. I'm just stunned at the life in each of his works. I enjoyed your photos a lot, captured his work very well. Thanks for that.

Man is the fool...
Yes, he's good. To stand next to this piece, to view and touch it from all angles was quite something. Indeed it was a death mask...

You could touch his work? That's awesome. Would you happen to know if his work is going to be showcased in L.A.?

Man is the fool...
No, sorry I don't know. I saw it at the British Museum in London, it was included as a free standing exhibit in a large display of death masks and the like. You could get as close as you liked, touch it, smell it...walk around the back. It is very big - twenty times life size at least....
